You should try with a Firemouth, I have seen a Firemouth female pair up with a Blood Parrot. No fry because he was sterile but maybe it would work out with female Parrot and a male Firemouth. You could call it a Firebean, that would be bad ass. But you might not get fry. You don't with Oscars and Parrots.
I think the reason why most male Blood Parrots are sterile is because they get hormone treatment to bring out they orange color at an early age. Thats why you see small 1 inch orange ones at big chains and baby colored ones at local stores.
