jellybean bp's

Big Spizz, would you like to bring a nice new camera over here so I can get a clear picture? ALSO, my fish is 2 FEET away from my desk, the picture was not blown up, it was zoomed at the time I depressed the shutter. Why was it zoomed? you may ask...because Jellybean is 2 inches long!! Very little fish!!

Even better, why don't you just come on over and proceed to try to flame me because the only camera I have isn't professional grade?

I asked a question, since that is how I learn. If you're going to flame me for trying to expand my knowledge instead of answering my questions. Then I don't see any reason to heed a word of what you say.

Beyond that fact, my fish is posted on another thread from this board, it's not my fish in those picture links.

Yes I have pictures of the parents and no I dont have pictures of the breeding process. It happened while I was at work. Its not a Vieja x con as 1)I didnt have a vieja at the time and 2) By the time a Vieja is big enough to breed it would be too large to pair with a con.

Cons and vieja breed just fine......

Regardless of this the fact of the matter is that the fish I posted is the offspring of a BP and pink convict. I notice none of these little JB's are orange like a parrot even though this trait can be passed to other cichlids...hmmm I wonder why that is???

No one is flaming you....:chillpill::chillpill::chillpill: You are taking good advice and dismissing it to get a better answer. You do need to learn more about fish before you can debate them. You will look at this thread months from now a giggle at how adamant you were when you are in-fact wrong.....You are taking advice from someone who thinks vieja and cons can't mix :screwy: I can show pics of that F.Y.I.... Take the fish out and photo it in your hand. And another thing. In your other thread he showed you a jelly bean and said this is what you can expect, then showed "his" fish and said "this is what you should expect"...Thayt didn't seem a little weired to anyone else?

here ya go....a picture of a "Jellybean"

Hopefully this one is clearer, so you don't go blind trying to see her profile and therefore prove the world wrong. Good Luck with that!

:chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill: WTF are you talking about? Looks like a dyed B.P. to me... I don't support the purchase of dyed fish. It is cruel.

Seriously ~T~ knows whats hes talking about. I only know one other person that knows as much or more than him about hybrids. As ~T~ has bred a PC and a BP hes is in a better position than most to make statements about his experiences than those who have just read about on the net.

I bet "T" is a pro. Pros are wrong from time to time. I have bread all of the above and they are both off..... Any further questions?

Check out my thread on Jellybeans and BP's....Jellybeans are just deformed pink cons.

~T~ tried that cross and said that they looked horrible, and that they weren't anywhere near pink.

This is what got me started by the way.......
