nice! I have a batch of carpintis x blood parrot fry (about 150) that hatched on feb 8. they are free swimming and growing fast. send me a message if interested in doing some type of swap in a few weeks. Could be cool to mix it up a bit. Im in south jersey, but travel all over NJ. If not, thats cool too.

Red Texas are really hard to create, hence there are so many imported that are not of a quality. Out of hundreds of fry, you are lucky if you can get 1 with thick pearls, nuchal hump and a bright red coloration and a shape that is actually of Texas descent. There are a bunch of low quality RT's everywhere. Almost every pet store here in MN has a low quality RT or texas. So many people tried to breed for them here. Even I tried.

Good luck with the project though. The male looks really nice.
