Vitaly,
i agree with you on several fronts: the oil issue, we control, yes we did support bin laden in the soviet- afgan war, i don't think we went to iraq for the right reasons, although i have clients from syria who are 110% sure the syrian regime now has iraqi wmd's, not to mention saddam gassed his own people, yes with our tipid support; and our state of national affairs--is disgusting. i think we would be burried from kerry because most democrats are: let's talk this out and bend backwards a little more for them. like clinton--who really is and was on there knees for oil?
IMO, if you show niceties and humaniteis to terrorist, they will show a 6' hole with your name on it.
man, i love history, because we (mankind) never learn.
you know what i find is the funniest thing about iraq? the sunnis are trying to drive us out, and i say let's go. iran will come in and committ genocide on all the sunnis, including the sunni kurds, then bam arab/ non arab muslim holy WWIII. with out western societs involved. this is of course my opinon
however, opinons are like a-holes, everybody has at least one!!!!

I agree Clinton was on his knees for oil, so is (and were) Bush I, Bush II, Nixon, JFK, Reagan, Carter name it. We've been giving fellatio to the House of Saud for too damned long period. I think it's funny when people get mad and say "It's the Democrats fault!" or "It's the Republicans fault!" Actually both statements are valid IMHO.

We have far more oil on American land, the only reason we get it from the middle east is that it's actually cheaper getting it from them than digging it out ourselves. :)

you know what! Why not use milk for gas or oil or w/e cows are everywhere grrr!!! (ok so maybe that wouldnt work, but if it did then that wouuld be some cheap stuff!) :grinyes:

Please just dont get too heated with this debate. Most of us ,argue all we want , are on the same side. In the end, we want all this hatred ,violence and terrorism to stop.

Are you saying that America with all of it's oil is holding out, and has the mentality of "let's use up all of their oi"l, and when all of it is gone, then we still have some and they would depend on U.S. Seems like it all boils down to "survival of the fittest".
I sincerely hope that this remains just a debate, and not one of those p****** contest...i hate thems...although I think I can pee the longest...three meters if it is early in the morning!!! :lol2: just kidding.

he who has the oil last will WIN!!!!
***i just had to kick a british national out of my office after he snuck a look at my post and called me a fat, lazy, war mongoring, YANKEE and he even said Bush was the root of all problems..... i laughed so hard he almost threw a punch. so i asked him to leave... i wish i had a camera at work to show you guys how out of hand it got!! i thought us and them were on the same side?

THey have to take care of themselves before we can help them. They will blow their own people up just to kill a few Americans. The Iraqi citizens need to take control, report terrorist, thye might be afraid because they are getting threatend but it has to start somewre. It is called being civilized.

No disrespect but where was your goverment when Hurricane Katrina hit new orleans ? by my understanding they were a little slow off the mark getting aide to them....Why ? maybe because troops were everywhere but the USA.

yes i agree it posibly could have been quicker tog et them help but check out the actual figures that arent getting wide spread coverage
the folowing from popular mechanics mag

Bumbling by top disaster-management officials fueled a perception of general inaction, one that was compounded by impassioned news anchors. In fact, the response to Hurricane Katrina was by far the largest--and fastest-rescue effort in U.S. history, with nearly 100,000 emergency personnel arriving on the scene within three days of the storm's landfall.
Dozens of National Guard and Coast Guard helicopters flew rescue operations that first day--some just 2 hours after Katrina hit the coast. Hoistless Army helicopters improvised rescues, carefully hovering on rooftops to pick up survivors. On the ground, "guardsmen had to chop their way through, moving trees and recreating roadways," says Jack Harrison of the National Guard. By the end of the week, 50,000 National Guard troops in the Gulf Coast region had saved 17,000 people; 4000 Coast Guard personnel saved more than 33,000.

These units had help from local, state and national responders, including five helicopters from the Navy ship Bataan and choppers from the Air Force and police. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries dispatched 250 agents in boats. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), state police and sheriffs' departments launched rescue flotillas. By Wednesday morning, volunteers and national teams joined the effort, including eight units from California's Swift Water Rescue. By Sept. 8, the waterborne operation had rescued 20,000.

While the press focused on FEMA's shortcomings, this broad array of local, state and national responders pulled off an extraordinary success--especially given the huge area devastated by the storm. Computer simulations of a Katrina-strength hurricane had estimated a worst-case-scenario death toll of more than 60,000 people in Louisiana. The actual number was 1077 in that state.

I was watching this show about how all the "muslims" in the middle east believes that America is evil and oppresing their people. One kid (about 12 years old) said that when he grows up, he wants to fight and kill Americans. They have a CD Movie that circulates around gthe world how to kill Americans. I don't want to create hatred towards the Muslim Americans, but their fellow Muslims in the Middle East are making me want to just delete all of them. :screwy:

Jihad is a holy war in muslims. from a friend of mine we had a discussion about this "religious war". from her, since she is muslim she told me the reason why these people want to attack americans is because they have been fed with wrong informations. don't forget they are not a democratic country all the government wants them to hear is what they can only hear and see. no american television is being broadcast their. they don't know anything except their own country. that i can't blame. but in regards to extreme ones.. i don't know if they have seem a doctor... maybe it would have been better if they were born with kind hearts. can't take it when they kill people just for no reason. :(
