The change of ownership of Paterno's house does sound suspicious, but then again he's 84 and she's 71, so he probably doesn't expect to be alive much longer and made the transfer now. There are probably other plausible reasons for the switch, too, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what comes of it.

He's 84 and she's 71.........ummmm.....maybe they should have changed the school chant to " we like them young! ", long ago. And doesn't that make Joe Pa the Pedo-In-Chief?

I could see where Sandusky got his inspiration......that's definitely leadership by example, if I may say so.

On a related note, I watched an interview on cable news last night where the rep for the national Protect organization (a group looking after the welfare of children) say that they provided the Pennsylvania Attorney General a list of 10,000 known pedophiles operating in the State and she has done absolutely nothing about apprehending them. It appears that Sandusky is not the only one roaming around freely in PA. There's a huge army of them there. That must be terrifying if you live there!

So, given what happened to Franco Harris with his support for the JoePa, how smarter are you feeling about your supposedly very intelligent theory of being able to separate sports records from other "stuff"?

Wow dude.... Just wow. Lets see, paterno married here when she graduated first. So not young. Next look at the ages. People getting married and having children young was common when they where young. Very common. Of course you will ignore this fact wont you?

Second, paterno was never accused of child molestation. your starement is frankly offensive to ANYONE with any measurable intelligence which speaks volumes for your post.

Next, those known pedos, how do they know? You cant get rounded up unless you commit a crime. Again common sence. How many of those are already registered? How many was the 20 yo had sex with the 16 yo bf/gf? Oh thats right, this would involve reading and research not just spouting off stuff that some person said on a media outlet. Did they elaborate?

As far as terrifying, really? 10k in a state of.millions, most of which are gun owners. Im supposed to be afraid?

Here is a foreign concept for ya. Wait for proof he did something wrong because atm there is ZERO. Again a small inconvienient fact for people like you

Actually they have proof! They said the feds now has software to identify people who are sharing pics/videos of naked and in the act children on the internet. The list supposedly included e-mail addresses, IP- addresses + other evidences. If that is not actionable information, then there's something very wrong.

eh, done mud slinging, if you want to discuss updates, additional information and your opinion about the case go ahead but enough with the insults. you're just asking to get the thread closed at this point. you've spent your last 2 posts focusing on the posters instead of even bothering to attempt to discuss the posts

i've got no problem with you and enjoy a good convo but you've clearly got a problem with me for sharing my opinion that people should not idolize sport figures as a person but can idolize their impact on thier respective sport. that's def face palm worthy
 
ok all you paterno apologists ,the facts are out there mcquerey ,by past admission and present saw SANDUSKEY RAPE A CHILD in2002 SANDUSKEY was still on campus 2 weeks ago with paternos consent (hes in charge of the facility at the time). ok defend THAT.
 
If he SAW a child being raped I would hope that he flew into immediate physical action but since this toad was on campus two weeks ago it does not sound as if he did....
 
just read today that the state police are saying that mcqueary did NOT report it to the police, contrary to what he told his friend in an email the public got ahold of
