WELL FOLKS HERE IS A UPDATE FROM ABOUT 48HRS IS IT ME OR DOES HE LOOK DIFFERENT???? AND I DID WHAT JP SAID AND I AM VERYY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS THAT ARE TAKING PLACE
HERE IS HIS SETUP ITS A 55GAL WITH 3 FILTERS AND A HEATER ON IT WITH CRUSHED CORAL FOR SUBS

Looks great bro! I really like him a lot! I'd suggest him a blue or even black(since he's faded) background to make him more comfortable and become a little darker so his colors can come out.

Also take the mirror out and use the mirror method only an hour or two a day.

What temp is he in? Also have you checked the PH level with all that crushed coral in there?

thanks alot ////is there a reason why only a few hours a day???? his heater is at 84F the ph is at 7.8-8.0///////i been thinkin i may try and order some ching mix but i wanted to grow him all natural

Since he isn't a kamfa, I would suggest you to take out the crushed corals and keep the ph in around 7.0-7.5. But 7.8-8.0 wouldn't hurt either I guess.

The mirror time is similar as you having another FH next to each other divided up. They might gain head to show aggression, but if left for too long they might lose their head or become stressed.

ok thats kind of what i thout u were gonna say it could stress him out if he is fighting all the time i am gonna go with the either black or blue background and see what happens what does high ph do to kamfas???? and any other sugestions are welcome brother and i will keep u updated so far u havent pointed me in the wrong direction so i just want to say thankx ////o yea jp i was gonna buy the red female for him but u beat me 2 it (lakefishex)
