"Jumping" catfish sp.?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Rayman45, I will be picking up a couple for myself this weekend,, I can get you one if you are interested, it will cost around $50.

Jed, I have no idea how they got that name,, I never saw it jump out of the water or anything like that,, I had it for over a year,,

umm how big
i have no space for anything right now

o yea
got any info on them?

they get close to 2 feet,, and are very territorial,, mine used to chase away my marbled cat which was much bigger. they eat anything,,pellets, shrimp, silversides. Pretty easy to take care of,, but they grow pretty slow.

the only tank i got for them is a 30
with
rtc 5-6inches
frt 6 inches
a few dats 3"
some 3" corys

whats do you think?

as long as you have the RTC there, your dats and corys are in danger of becoming dinner. the jumper cat will be around 6" so it should be ok in there for a while, until the RTC outgrows it.

the rtc cant catch the dats b/c there is so much drift wood

if i see a dat missing i will ove to a 20L

i wil lyk

the cory's have been in that tank for almost 2 years lol

why do you have an RTC when you cant even care for your snakehead?

jesus christ.

BTW- nice work KFG

what do you mean grows slow?!?!

My RTC was at least 16 inches in one year.

What would jumpy cat Mcghee be at around one year?
