Received a giant order last night. For the first time I had no boxes wet when I received them. I got 3 polys over 20" and none stuck a fin through a bag. I received many other fish as well. A vulture cat was gobbling down pellets like crazy just 3 hours after landing. All the fish were in fantastic condition just like every time I order fish from JA. I actually wait on buying fish until Mike and Kevin can be my supplier. If you are wanting to buy fish, I highly reccomend getting them from Jurassic Aquatics. No way will you be disappointed.
Without a doubt, these guys are my favorite vendor. I can count on accurate descriptions, fat and healthy fish, great prices, and no doas. Mike and Kevin are solid guys making their business a delight to deal with. I just wish they dealt with ALL species so I wouldn't have to buy from anywhere else. :thumbup:
Just tell them what you want and be patient. That's how I do it. I have never asked for a fish they haven't produced. Healthy and as described. Also, they do ship DOA's when the airline crushes the boxes or forgets to put them on the plane and leaves them on the dock in Denver in February. That's just the black cloud that follows me around.
To this day that shipment pisses me off,,I have yet to get in a black Volta of that size

I think this is my 5th order from JA too many to keep count haha. Awesome customer service and awesome rare fish. You usually can't find both of those things in an LFS (which is why I've ordered and will continue to order from JA). They always have something that is rare or interesting in-stock. I know I'm a big poly person and didn't intend to really get away from them, but when they got those SA lungfish I bought one right away and wasn't disappointed. Little guy was eating almost an hour out of the box. Thats another thing I appreciate about JA they take time to properly cure their fish and to make sure their customers get the best available. I can't count the amount of times I've bought a fish from a LFS that either had internal parasites or some kind of fungus/disease. I can always count on my fish being correctly treated from JA and will never have any doubts about the fish I am given. I'd encourage anyone that is in to any kind of rare fish to give JA a PM so they can add their next favorite fish to their tank. Thanks JA for all you've done for me and for feeding my addiction.
