I've been able to get him to take a worm every other day this week by target feeding him at lights out. I think he's put on some size this week. I'm going to stick with this regiment and see how it works.

It must be his diet that I'm feeding him. I probably should have left him in his Q-tank and just fed him live until he put on some size and them moved him into my big tank.

I'll file this experience under lessons learned.

You said before that your fish was taking pellets and spitting them out. Getting them to bite the pellet is 90% of what it takes to break them. Why did you quit?
