So my lfs has 2x Geophagus Jurupari for sale. I know that there exists Satanoperca Jurupari, but i am not sure that a Geophagus Jurupari also exists.

I remember reading something about G. Jurupari also existing, just being VERY rare.
The price is $80. per fish.

They are now Satanoperca jurupari, but previous were in the Geophagus genus before it was restricted to the surinamensis complex species.

Given you are in another country, it's hard to tell if it's a good price or not. If they were here, depending on size, I'd say probably not. I can drive about 10 minutes and get 2.5" ones for $10.99. I imagine 10" adults might be worth $80 though.

Why was it changed?

They are 6", the price is a little high but everything is expensive here. Here, a neon tetra goes for $3 each and a normal guppy for $7-10 depending on lfs.

It was/is felt that while both eartheaters, the jurupari complex and surinamensis complex weren't closely related enough to be in the same genus. If you look at a picture of a Satanoperca and say a Geophagus altifrons ... their body shapes and even mouth shapes are completely differant.

Scientifically, it had to do with the nature of the swimbladder and spinal cord I guess, according to my referances.

At 6", I'd expect to see them listed for between $30-$40 here to give you a referance. But remember they prefer to be in groups, tracking down 5-6 at $80 will be spendy. Plus they take 2+ years to mature, so breeding will be delayed.

That lfs normally has the right name, what is the difference between Jurupari and Leu.?

Leucosticta begin to develop heavy fluorescent dot patterning underneath the dark line that runs from the eye to the mouth as juveniles, and eventually have a face and operculum full of these dots as adults when the other markings disappear.

2.5" juvenile of mine a while back.

S. jurupari simply have a few lines and maybe some tiny speckling around the operculum, nowhere near as intense.

Here's HiImSean's S. jurupari.

America and Australia both seem to be in this trend to horribly mislabel them, no doubt because up until the 2" mark leucosticta look very similiar.
