Yeah, me too. I have too many tanks and fish these days with not enough free time to keep up with needs of a plant tank. A well maintained planted tank looks great though.

theres one LFS in HK which gets in all stuff ADA. They have the most impressive planted setup in there. Its seriously about 300 to 400gallons and is beautiful. Takes like 3 guys couple hours everyday to maintain it. but its BEAUTIFUL. All the stuff the use in there is by ADA. From gravel, co2 equipement filters everything. seriously sick

that is a nice filter im gonna look into one for added filtration on a larger fresh water fuge im planning

Reminds me of this Eheim filter, circa 1974. I like the idea of having the motor on top instead of having it so integrated into one housing. I hope this modular old school way of thinking makes a comeback.

If by box filter you mean HOB, then they only work for plants that do not need a high concentration of CO2.

As to chill, it has been mentioned several times that this is for PLANTED tanks.

I'm going to have to request pictures! I love it when LFS have nice planted displays. You are so lucky.

ill take a w.d

Has anyone seen the insides of thies puppies? I'm curious if it's nothing more then a regular can with stainless steel and a very good pump.

Looks great, wayyyy out of my price vs performance (even for a planted) range.
