Just a sneak peek...

I want to keep them all!

It will be cool to see what they look like post-shed. Right now they are very washed out looking, and their first shed, which should take place in about a week, will reveal their true colors. Can't wait to see what they look like!

I know how you feel. I had a hard time letting go of my first batch of boas years ago. But then reality sets in and one realizes that he just has to let some of them go.................hint hint.

You should keep all the females. I just sold my entire collection a month or two ago. Two clutches hatched so far for the guy few normals and few pastels. I cant wait to see if the female pastel is going to lay or not.:D

Good Luck!!!

Agree very beautiful. Keep us posted.

I was planning on keeping a pair out of all the clutches...either ones that I really like or just a pair that doesn't get picked out by others. The next 2 clutches are due the first week of august.

Awesome very good odds.
Out of interest... wouldn't it be better to keep the males rather than females (if you weren't going to keep 1.1), as they can be stud to multiple normal (or whatever else) females.

I am speechless, Elevate, speechless.

It depends on what you're trying to produce, really. If you want to go for more pastels, one male can successfully mate with as many as 5 or 6 or even more normal females in one season...the males or whores and will breed pretty much any time you put him in with a female.

On the other hand, female morphs are your keys to the designer morphs...pastel x pastel gives you a shot at super pastels, spider x pastel gets you a shot at bumblebees, etc etc etc....

thats an awesome looking picture
