Just got a Pair of Black Belts !

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Anymore going on there? Its normal for them to go thru behavior like that before spawning - they have to test each other a bit basically. Looks like they could be a nice pair, just get a good divider and then see how they react to each other over time. Being separated (If they were truly a pair before) could have broken the pair bond and they are getting to know each other again.

I just bought myself a male BB the other week and so far he has killed my Bleekeri which I am SUPER pissed about because I drove sooo far to get the Bleekeri and he was one of the coolest damn fish I ever kept. Always banging glass but the BB just made him kick the bucket by collapsing a slate rock on him over the night. They were getting along until the light went off and I went to sleep. Woke up to a dead bleekeri felt like takin the BB and chucking him in the woods but lets hope he makes up for his mistake by being an awesome fish. VERY VERY nice pair how big are they?? Male looks Superb! My male doesn't have any pink under his gill plate pretty weird.

Nice BB, thinking about ordering some, just not enough tanks to house all the viejas/paratheraps I have/will order. :nilly:

Great pick up i love bb's there is a bb pair around my way they are a little larger than yours the lfs is asking 150$ now just need to squeeze in another 125gal in the fish room haha.

do u happen to have a zo male????

update- the one with red (female i was told at store) after getting along fine for over a week has beat the crap out of the one with no red (male?). So now the one is hiding behind the rock wall, and looks like Ick got him nnNNNNnnooOOooooo...

I added more salt to and raised the tank temp, to treat the ICK. No other fish have any signs of ick, and i dont want to use any harsh treatments, so im thinking of just doing the salt + temp raise + patience to treat it.

I do have a small time out tank i could put him in, but i dont wanna stress him out more by chasing him around to catch him... and in his hiding spot, she cant get to him, so he is safe...

and i have no subrate, for the ick to hide.
