Never saw this post, but yes I do have a zonatus male. :popcorn:
 
I may be wrong but was always under the impression that the male of the BB pair had the color. I also had a breeding pair and the one that kicked the bucket was the drab looking one. I thought it was the female. Here is a picture of the one that is left ( I was told a male ) It is about 8"

I need to start charging more for my blackbelts.....I've been almost giving them away. To me 100 bucks for a pair seems high to me. Anyway.....cool fish

That is creepy similar... so i wonder which one of out fish stores told us the wrong thing???

how did yours die?
 
I'll sell you mine...He's about 4-5" and has all the attitude and no teeth to back it up.
