I wasn't even feeding him when it happened. I was tweaking the angle of the one of the return lines from the wet dry. There are 2 cocked and loaded mono. cichla who'll bite me as well as the aro in the tank so I know better than to "gently" enter the water. But typically once I've broken the surface and they know it's me they won't bit me. Not this time he totally swam up paused, looked at me, and YOINK raggleraggleraggleraggle.
