Son have any small spaces at the top of your tank! Make sure Every spot is covered basically. I had to Lear the hardway yesterday :/

I did do research and thought that he was big enough to where I wouldn't have to cover that slim hole. They're my favorite fish and I knew they jumped.

Hi mate you need a soft lid,ie celotex kinda stuff. Keep your lights right at the back as they are skittish jumpers and can smash bulbs.big weights of any kind on top of tank..it will jump.
For the first 8 months or so your aro will seem like a fragile baby, after that you will be more concerned with tank size. Good luck mate I've really enjoyed growing mine up!
