Mines ate hikari sticks @ that size. I think your fish will probably be ok for now, but he'll be double that size in about 6 more weeks. I'm about one and a half months from completing my 500 gal build and probably another month afterwards waiting for the water to cycle. Some people here on MFK say that it's not big enough for a full grown silver aro, so I don't know dude what you plan on doing, but have fun with that :p

I think 500 gal is fine lol theres always someone here that will try to tell you ur wrong its so annoying some people think they are flawless marine biologists ur arowana will be ok trust me I created all arowanas lol
