the temensis in michigan or around detroit as long with ocels are 14 dollars as babys. that was the first time that i have seen those kind of peacock bass before and ive owned both ocells and temensis which havent looked like these. I hope its not an ocell lol those are common by me. now the monos or orinoco are a different story

how exzactly do you tell the difference of orinos, monos, or ocell? i also changed my tank over to black sand, ill get some updated pictures up soon.

looks like they've settled down a lot better now; they're showing a lot more colors. i'm no expert, but the 3 rings, red eyes, indicates it's definitely not monolucus, but are orinos as you suspected. they look like they're fattening up nicely
