Noticed my eheim heater I had for almost a decade has some water inside of it.

This cannot be good and will be ordering another heater. What's the gold standard for heaters again? Lol

Eheim doesn't have a lifetime guarantee on heaters do they?

What caused my failure?

High flow rate weathered the glue?
It's a decade old never even noticed it it's working fine though. Unplugged it. I have another heater as well.

I'm going to buy aquatop heater 300 watt. Got great reviews and its 15$

Eheim is reputable but all heaters must have an end lol I'll retire this in my community and use this in a fry tank. Lol

Which heater do you have?
Same one you're getting. The only problem I've had is one shattered when I did a water change. I forgot to unplug it and it burned through the suction cup and shattered when it hit the water. That was my fault, not the heater's.

I have three. Two 300w for the 210 and a 100w for the 20 long.
