Just ordered a pair of wild Orinos from Rapps. Cant wait! I postponed the order untill sept. 3rd to insure that I will be home when they arrive! Tank is good to go for them, PH is sitting at about 6.5, nitrites are at zero ppm, nitrates are at about 30ppm, Temp is 86 degrees.

Yeah ive been given the heads up on that. These Orinos are advertised at 3 to 3.5 inches, the cats are 4 inches. The trick is in the feeding. Feed the cats about 1/3rd of what the orinos get more or less, untill the orinos get to about 12 inches. At that point the cats wont be able to eat them untill they are pretty much gigantic, and these hybrids I have, lean alot more to the TSN side of the genes than the RTC. I had some ocel's that were about 3 inches in with these cats about a week ago and they didnt pay any attention to them. Ive got a 210g in the works anyways, so they wont be tank mates for long. Ill put them back with each other later on if the cats start to get too big. Worst case scenario if the cats start chasing the Orinos ill take their ass back to the LFS and get some store credit :)

cats grow too fast and they are already larger.... do a water change... 30 p.p.m. is a bit of nitrates

Roger that. I plan to do one tonight, 25%

Quick question, when I get this 210 running, how long does it usually take for them to stabilize? Im asking cuz im trying to coordinate the setup of that one with the relocation of the grow out in relation to the growth demands of the fish
