Just picked up 2 pleco, ID not sure

The one on the left was labelled as clown pleco, got it for 11 bucks.

The other one was labelled as zebra ( i dont think it is) I got it for 22
Question: Are they the same specie? They looks similar but the one on the left appear to be more "washed out" and the one the right appear to be more vabriant. They were in different tanks.

Are they simillar? I got them at a local LFS, family owned and very friendly. They told me that they are L104's ( i dont agree with this) Let me know guys! I am new to plecos.

Do you guys think they are same specie tho? They were in separate tank and labeled different names.

I agree, the markings are pretty close. The big difference is how dark the black area of the smaller one and how yellowish too and the edges of the markings seem to be sharper.

Anyways whatever they might be, i hope they will do well in my tank!
