I think we should submit formal letters to Animal Planet to start a show for true aquarium enthusiasts. Probably won't do any good at all, but it seems like there's enough interest for one. How many of us watch "River Monsters" and "Tanked"? How about a bad ass "Tanked Monsters" show. Any takers?
Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I agree 10001% we should all do that. We are all stuck watching over dramatic shows like river monster and so on. We should have a show 100%about fish. For the fluent animal planet viewers, I think we should make fish 101 don't you think!
I read about the owners of the Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (Tanked) and their history. They owned that place which is sucessful for 14 years. I guess you will tell them, that you know better and you are smarter than them. Well let me tell you, that is just what you think.
I agree with people that the show is scripted and who cares about there family drama ( which is also scripted) but the comment about them getting more technical about the fish... The show is called " Tanked" not " Fished" . It's about building tanks, not teaching everyone how to run an aquarium. The show is kind of dumb sometimes, but you have to agree that some of the tanks are pretty cool. And other than that Angel fish tank, how many others were really overstocked? Idk I just don't like people trash talking a show just because it's not what they want it to be. If you don't like it don't watch it, watch river monsters. If any of you watched it last night, he didn't even catch the fish he was looking for this time, I felt like I wasted and hour of my life to see this fish that he didnt catch. And on top of that listen to him complain about he wasn't catching the fish because he made the Indian Gods mad. Sorry for ranting but that's how I feel about this...
I would like to see a show based on aquarium enthusiasts though. I think that would be cool. Especially more freshwater. Even though tanked has done a couple freshwater tanks I would like to see a tank with freshwater monsters instead of African cichlids...

So building a successful business around tanks makes them an expert on fish keeping right. I believe their work around tank building is not in question but the tank management is.

These tanks are interesting but they never talk about the maintainence involved. I would like to see how they perform the water changes. They should go back 6 months later and see how well the fish are how many are still alive.
if the show is about "building tanks" and not about fish or maintaining aquariums, than what the hell is it doing on Animal Planet?
i thought that animal planet suppose to be about nature and animals?
