I LOVE THAT SHOW:):):) I thank those guys are funny I thank it will get more people in to the hobby if anything else. Its not supposed to be a documenty its supposed to be funny so people will watch it and yes there was too many fish in it but they just did it for the show if they had a tank with 2 fish in it would have looked stupid plus you have no idea what the filtering system is the are one of the best tank builders around

decided to watch it for the first time. they were building the pinball machine tank.
wow what a stupid idea. the tank is completely impractical.
plus they threw way way too many angelfish in there.
i am guessing there will be many dead fish in a day or two.
p.s. i hated how they were making idiotic statements about fish poop making plants grow and angelfish being chichlids

Those people in the show are professionals. I would probably trust them more than people from this board. Why don't you go with the postives in the show like how they made that 20 foot acrylic tank with round corners and they put some sharks in there. That show was shown last week. Do you actually think from doing all that, they do not know what they are talking about?

No flames please. This is my opinion and I think the show is great.

There is a user here who claims to have family working in that office, who said within a week the only things left alive were the nurse and black tip sharks and the black tip was blinded. As soon as they put in that school of Mono's in with the sharks, I lost any respect I had left for the show.

So far the only tank they have done that I actually liked was the Fung Shui one from last season.

Did you happen to notice how many Angels they put in the scoreboard of the pinball machine? Had to have been 15-20 and the tank was no more than 30 gallons.

Do you actually think, if that happened, they would still be in business? Like every episode, all the fishes they put in died. In my opinion, this is the internet, and what people say can be far from the truth. And by the way, the reef board forums loved that shark tank that they did, 8 foot, 18,000 gallons acrylic tank.

Let's throw some more fish in their because rays are hiding. LOL I can only imagine how those people in CA think about reputation when selling these guys fish. I bet they feel we should have sold our fish to a sushi bar. Who in their right mind dumps fish right in after putting 8000 gallons of tap water with salt and conditioner. I don't do salt anymore because lost power during a hurricane and lost my fish but I waited two months before adding real high dollar fish in.

They probably have filters with bio media that are already have been established with benificial bacteria from another source. Like I said, these people are professionals and know the aquarium trade. They do not tell you about cycling in the show and there is a lot going behind the scenes to have that happen. That is what I think.
