What?

No horse manure controversy in this thread!

You guys are boring!

You know, it was funny, the first 25 times you said it, but I don't know, the horse manure comment is getting pretty old.

Those factors can catch unlucky soothsayers off guard. Like the guy in London in 1868 who took the city's population growth rate, the number of horses on the street, then multiplied them by the horses' public bathroom habits. Conclusion: by the year 1968, London would be buried six feet deep in horse manure.

That's an example. People predicted that with the growth in human population, there would be a growth in transportation, and horses were the best means of transportation. More horses, means more manure, means more methane into the air, meaning "the end of the world".

They didn't take into account our technological advances. Now you can stop with that horse manure comment already.

switch from tropical fishes, eliminated the heaters.

Not going to happen:D
I "skimp" on heating as well. My 265 has 1 100w heater and the 300 has 1 250 watt heater.

That's more like it.

There's nothing like the scent of fresh horse droppings to get the day rolling....

THE QUESTION IS DID THE HUMAN RACE CAUSE IT OR IS IT A NATURAL CYCLE ???????

Technological advances .....from science?
but in other posts you seem to suggest that scientists are all idiots and wasters yet I am sure that you take full advantage of all the material advances that science has brought. " Scientists are so full of it...there is no global warming...but I'll use my computer to say it" kinda contradicts itself don;t ya think.
Without the help of scientists the scenario predicted with the horse manure would have ben correct, so it seems to me that perhaps you should also take heed when wiser and better educated people than you , in the vast majority and almost unanimously, tell us we got a climate problem. To dismiss them as you do is arrogance coupled with deliberate ignorance.

I'm not here dismissing them. What I am doing, is questioning them. Did you think that our scientists today are much like the scientists in my example from the 1800's, that they aren't taking technological advances we might make in the next 20-30 years into account?

It doesn't make me ignorant to question and doubt information that scientists present from both sides. You keep suggesting that I only doubt scientists that AGREE that global warming exists, and I've done no such thing.

I agree, just because we ask questions about wether or not we should blindly follow Al Gore, doesn't mean we refute science. In fact there are many scientists that discredit global warming, and you pretend they don't exist.
