Decided to keep it simple - rocks, wood and Anubias :D

Currently housing a female psittacus (far left in pic#1) beaten up by her male, and a pair of L. thayeri to keep her relaxed.

Not sure what to stock it with long term yet....maybe a small group of Geo.? Ideas welcome :)

EDIT - oops wrong board. Can mods move this to the media board please....

Cool looking drfitwood. I like it. I like the black sand too.

Might as well go ahead and stock it with discus. You know they are next!! You won't be able to hold out much longer. Although black sand and backgrounds are bad for there colorations.

I like the black sand too but am beginning to think that it's too fine. The psittacus made a sudden move yesterday and a lot went in the filter intake. I need a shorter intake tube.

Discs did cross my mind but I don't know if I want to invest on a group of adults yet.

Wondering what would look good in this tank...probably something lighter in color?

Pelvicachromis signatus or Enigmatochromis lucanusi!!!

How are the L. thayeri with eachother? Have read mixed reports on them actually being quite aggressive to conspecifics. Interested to know as they're legal imports and I plan to try some if we ever get them over here.

Tank looks great though, loving the monster anubias leaves on the right that catch the edge of the light. Great exposure too.
