Just set up a 20 Gallon Tall at work *pics*

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
haha yeah, when the neons first went in the dats would loom above them and then lunge, chasing them from one side of the tank to the other over and over again. They eventually stopped and everybody is getting along fine now. I'm thinking when the dats get big enough the neons might be in trouble though.

They are better for your dats than feeders.
Also add entertainment.
Awsome

that jack demsey is going to be very unhappy in that tank. I wouldnt suggest a demsey in anything smaller than a 75gallon.

He was....so I moved him to this. He loves it!

yeah, he does look much happier in there. I'm glad to see you have simulated their natural environment so perfectly.

Alright guys, I got issues. The two dats have grown a bit, one substantially more than the other....and now they are fighting. Most of the time they are good, but if they happen to run into each other and its not during feeding time then the little one gets chased all over the tank. No battle damage yet, but I'm worried for the smaller one if this continues. I always heard that dats are supposed to get along with eachother, what gives? Is there anything I can do other than seperating the two of them?

Buy a 3rd dat?

In some of your first pics, I noticed it looks like the filter(now filters) are against the wall. Just watch out to make sure the wall doesn't get wet. I did this once and went to do a filter cleaning and it molded the wall behind the filter.
