I think you misread it. The clean comment was on the 20 gal.

ok....yeah Im sure that is the cleanest tank in your office, no argument there LOL

ok, so time for an update...

The dempsey and the pleco went to dontgetbit's 55 gallon at home. Here is a link to his thread:

The bichir went home with me to a 180 gallon, and he is lovin' it.

I found a couple baby indo datnoids at a lfs so I got them and added them. They are doing great so far and feeding on black worms. We also tried adding a couple red cherry shrimp, but of course the dats promptly ate them. I'm hoping the indo's grow pretty quick (for dats) so I don't have to wait too long to take them home.

We also took a couple of your suggestions, i.e. black tubing (which doesn't look black anymore cuz it got a white film on it) and we added some more plants....

I like that killer fish sign! And... Seems like you shouldn't post on MFK unless you want to feel wrong about everything you do. But that's how it is.

Thanks! Yeah, I just ignore it..... the majority of posts on MFK are positive and helpful.

Yep. That's how it is. Hint: Next time you plan something, let it run successfully before you post it.

Nice tank you've got there! I just got myself a 37 gallon and it's exactly like yours - a Top Fin starter kit. It's a bare bottom tank and only has 3 fake plants. So you can imagine how it looks like :D

It WAS running successfully when I posted. The negative posts came from people that didn't read the thread thoroughly enough. This tank will only be a temporary home for all the inhabitants that will ever live in it.

Pretty sweet man keep up the great work, tank looks very clean.

Thanks guys!

We added a small school of neon tetras to make the tank a little more interesting to look at while the dats are growing....
