Alot of people may get on my case but i would never feed him live anything again... the reason is bait carrys disease, you would be introducing it to your baby and every fish in your tank.. the only live i would ever feed is my own raised feeders.. and that would only be until i could get him off live onto pellets..you have already accomplished this.. your baby in my eyes is wayyyy ahead of the game.. pellets have all the right food amounts protein/veggie matter and vitamins and mineral that he needs.. the frozen blood worms and frozen what ever is just a treat to give him a little different taste etc.. but quite frankly the pellets are his staple.. so forget about all that other stuff.. also even if you have home raised feeders for him that are safe from disease he may go off pellets again.. so i would never want to have to go through starving him to get him to eat pellets again..i would only buy my frozen silversides from a LFS or someplace that packaged it for tropical fish.. :D

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ok i got you as far as the diff disease i feel like a big dog now that you say im ahead of the game :D by getting him 2 eat the pellets and the lfs had him eatting little reds and i got him into the swing of pellets i thank you for the knowledge i think ill just do as you say keep my same feedings going and by the end of the year try getting some silverside from my lfs and see if he eats that along with everything else do they have teeth? the reason i asked is because when i feed my little one i let it eat out of my hand and i nips my fingers :) but i want to know if i could still do this when it gets 12-15inches? how do you sex them? and is it poss to breed them if so what are the do's and dont's

If you read through the multiple arow thread you will see that everyone is hoping they can get a breeding pair..so far they have only been bred in giant fish ponds in china.. so if you get that lucky it will be a astonishing feat... i have not heard of anyone being able to sex arow for sure.. they guess alot:grinno: And yes they have teeth and they have a huge mouth, you will see it soon:WHOA: so i think you will give up putting your fingers there.. in time.. :grinno: Also make sure you weigh down top..i may have mentioned this already bur even the babies jump and close up all open spaces..And lots of luck and please keep us updated with more pics
