He is just beautiful .. i just cannot get over that he would be missing that long.. what a beautiful healthy looking baby..

Got my second Silver Arowana 2 days ago.
The first one (which is shown on page 8 in this thread) died of Ich just 2 weeks after i got her.
So finally i got another one at around 4-4,5" and for ~150$
Expensive hobby when you live in the middle of nowhere :D

Anyways... here is a not-so-good pic:

I am sorry to hear your first baby died, this one is going to be great for you.. just cover up those spaces and weigh it down.. he is very pretty baby and wish you the best with him!! Very expensive but at least you can get them.. that is a long trip for the baby too:D

Thanks everyone!

I am so blown away! I looked in that over flow a bunch of times ...

It is the easier one to check too ... he must have went to the bottom when he heard noises of the light & lid being moved!

I should have figured it out because one of the Red Bay Snook's kept looking at that overflow towards the top ...

When I reached in there he pretty much just waited for me to grab him and didn't struggle to get out of my hand - I pulled him out and eased him into the water on the other side of it ... It's good to have him back!

My original idea was to have a tank for Buck the Black Ghost Knife and an Aro
When this was lost - I decided that it wasn't worth it - this Aro (before his disappearance) was taking shrimp from my fingers! I thought that was the coolest thing! As tiny as he was - you could easily sense the power he had - That boy is a powerhouse!
