Just to show my West African tank

Hi there,

i wanted to show my tank - it´s not as big as some of yours but I like it
It´s a 180g and I tried to stay in West Africa. There are only two exceptions: 2 Panaqolus mac. affus. "L448"

Here is a vid of what the tank looks like when they smell food...

And here during feeding - normally they get food when light turnes off, but for the video I needed light. That´s why not every fish can be seen. Especially the Synodontis angelicus and the Polypterus buettikoferi are hiding at day.

You are right about your decorus, it is a hybrid and your set-up is beautiful.

@ll thank you for the positive responses! I´m very happy that the tank is running without bigger problems.

S Slayer thanks for your approval - the "decorus" was too cheap for a real one and it doesn`t have feathery upper barbles nor a striped caudal fin. I like it, but I hope, they didn´t hybridize it with a real big syno!

But because of the angelicus I think, I have to change the setup. Atm he has to share his caves with the polys and he (or she) doesn`t like it very much. It bites my polys whenever they´re too close to it and I don´t want to risk an infection.
So I will rebuild the tank during my vacation in December and bring in more caves, wood and so on. And I also will optimize the lid - made it by myself and I´m still a little bit dissatisfied with the way I laied the cables.
