i will be posting pics when i get my lazy self to the store and buy a new digital cam plus i gotta figure this sight out still to post them... all in due time i will say the scariest thing is seeing a gaboon strike at you and miss by a few inches now i make sure i have 2 friends here with me for cleaning feeding etc... timbers are not as bad as most people think same with the copper heads if the gaboon ever gets me most likely what ever part gets bit will be amputated well unless anybody else comes forward im the only crazy person with hot snakes here

Keeping hots is a little crazy, but I would love to have the Gaboon, but 2+ inch fangs are not for me.
you should see them when they are coming at you im begining to think its time to get rid of them all my fiance absolutly hates them... thank you for that info guppy im getting a cam this weekend so bout another week and ill have pics up....
I have handled and helped out with hot snakes, but I never had the itch to go and keep one myself. The only thing I have that could be considered hot now are my ornamental tarantulas. Thay aint no gaboon viper but I'll be sore for a few weeks if they sink their fangs in me me.
Crazy, I don't think so. Maybe a little. But thats fine.
By the way, did anyone go to the N.A.R.B.C. show? Thay had a gaboon viper that had to be 5' long and as big as a football around. Stout little bastards.

I live in connecticut so timber rattler's and northern copperhead's are nothing new to me, but what is crazy is picking up a baby copperhead and not knowing it . 
that snake at that small of a size could have killed me and 6 of my friend's off one bite. never drink in the wood's at night after a very hot day prime time for snake activety...... 
I also give you prop's for not being afraid to have help handeling that gaboon , I've seen one in a home display the person shall go name less but it was a site to see the color and shear size is amazing ..

i was thinken of geting a permit to get a hot snake but i have 3 year old sister and i dont think it be safe
