The guy was selling juvenile platinum gator gars for $1600 a piece, which is a pretty great price. Naturally I PMed him with some questions making sure that everything was legit, and he jumped down my throat about it. He acted like I was a novice and didn't even deserve to have my questions answered, let alone be able to buy one. I guess he wasn't aware that I just bought John's golden gar for $3,500 and my interest was not just pestering but a genuine intent to buy. 
(Note to vendors: if you are selling a fish for over 1,000 dollars, you should both expect and respect your buyers hesitance, questioning, and desire to have close contact with you during the transaction. Some of us have been scammed in the past by reputable dealers, and some of us consider buying something at that price a somewhat life-altering decision. Be patient with us!)
Unfortunately for John, his motto is, "If you won't buy it, someone else will," and he will then go on to berate you, harrass you and even mock you as you try putting together a sale with him.
This is why I stick at MFK.

Let's just be flat out clear about WHO you are talking about we are referring about as this thread can easily get out of hand and innocent vendors that's not even involved would get bad rep because of the very COMMON name. Please think twice about all of your commentary before jumping onto the band wagon and say oh yeah this guy said that....
I'm starting to assume that my favorite MFK vendor is getting in the crossfire just because he shares the only first name as of this whoever person the OP is talking about.
