i "think" it was a non ven water snake
i caught a baby one before but i forget what it was called
but again,i only seen it like in the pix,never seen head,and after that i lost it
so its in my yard somewhere :irked:

wait but isnt florida in the east?
 
looks like a young INDIGO, they are good snakes that eat all the bad snakes.. they are endangered in florida..or were when i was down there.. dark gray/black.. did it get away.?

they are usually shiny black tho right? or is that a black racer,or are they the same?lol
this guy was dull black with gold trim around the scales

yes they are usually shiny black but i thought as they get older they get shiny, well as long as you were able to get the lawn mowed....:ROFL:i quess it does not matter..

lil ones look like lil rattle snakes
but this guy was big enough to have shine,and didnt
i will try to find my old thread and find the snake i think it was

and i didnt touch that mower at all
its a rider mower.....not going up my back
