i was just wondering if anyone has order fish from petzonesd.com? Good place or bad place? they seem a bit high on their shipping and just wanted some input from someone that has ordered threw them before... has anybody from here?
 
I live in SD and I have bought fish from them. A lot silver aro, red parrots and flowerhorns. Prices are reasonable but I don't know about shipping. It's a mom and pop kinda store. I believe the son does all the internet sales.
 
yea i asked about shipping and they gave a good price... about 4 months ago i was thinking about getting a fish but had trouble getting a hold of the right person... but i tried again today and they said they have been working on things and seem nice and helpful... just haven't heard of anyone getting fish from them and the quaitly of their fish... i'm always careful of ordering fish online do to all the scams... thanks for the info feel a little better about ordering from them now..
 
Call them to see what they have; take what they have listed on AquaBid with a grain of salt.

I was going to get a jardini arowana from them after seeing one of their auctions on AquaBid, and I called in regards to getting a shipping quote on said jardini. The response I got was, "Oh, we are out of that size; we only have X size for Y dollars," to which I responded with, "Oh, okay. Then why is there still a listing on AquaBid for the size that you're out of?" and didn't get a straight forward answer.

It might have been a fluke incident, but I would call just to be sure they have what their AquaBid listings say they have before placing a bid/Buy It Now in order to avoid any unnecessary hassle.
 
They are not a scam, just an Asian Mom and Pop fish store that specializes in Flowerhorn, Parrots, and Arowanna. I have ordered from them in the past and they get the job done. Calling them is the best way to get a hold of them.
 
yea i already called them and talking to them... am thinking of getting a couple black aros... it's not a listing on aquabid... Hate that site... it's from their online website... but like i said i don't know anyone that has ordered from them and wanted some input... thanks guys
 
well decided to give them a shot... guess i'll find out tomorrow morning... ordered 2 10-11inch black aros... hope they come in good condition....
