well got them in... they shipped them in the same bag... not to happy about that but they are both kicking... they don't look like they are in great shape... but not the first i have gotten that didn't look great... hopefully after they settle i can get some good pics of them... but i am only turning on my moonlight for the day so they can relax... will get pics up as soon as i can
 
well i still don't have pics... trying to let them relax since they are really not in the greatest shape... I WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN... they for 1 sent them in the same bag (i have never even heard of people sending 2 aros in the same bag... always shipped in their own from what i have heard)... for 2 one got ammiona burn pretty bad... 3 one has gill curl on both sides ( i hope that will cure itself really don't want to have to do the whole surgey thing)... 4 i ordered 10 to 11 inch what i got is more like 8... and they had the 7-8 inch for 30 bucks cheaper... had good communication but i will not get from them anymore to many problems with the fish
 
well no point in putting up pics... one didn't make it threw the night... and the other that had gill curl before i put him in just pasted... 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 20 nitrate... the tank has been running for 9 months or so... has 3 tigs in it so i know the tank is good... i would not have them ship anything to anyone... picking it up at the store may be different.. but they don't know how to ship or to ship fish that are strong enough to make it... sad sad day... plus for it to have gill curl that means they are keeping them in to low of O2 in the tanks so i don't even think they know what they are doing... not to mention that they sent them in the same bag.... live and learn... just sucks
 
well i guess i should put this up on here as well... there policy is DOA only which is usually.. i didn't expect a refund.. but after proving threw a lot of pics that they had ammonia burn and gill curl before i put them into my tank.. they said they would refund me my money... i can't not say i would recommend them to ship... but i can say they had good communcaiton and where at least easy to deal with... i will post some pics showing them and the gill curl

I discovered them on my way back to Phoenix from San Diego. I purchased three yo yo loaches from them at a very reasonable price. They seem to have a very nice selection of what appeared to be healthy fish. They were nice and packaged my loaches for shipping since it was going to be a while before I got home. This was a couple years ago and I cannot speak for the current condition of the store, but I still have my loaches and have never had any problems. Next time I am in San Diego, I will definitely be stopping in again. I am sorry for the loss of your fish. I hope you can find healthy specimens soon.
 
So sorry to hear about your loss with the fish. It's always a crap shoot when you order from a new place.

I've bought form them through Aquabid, not fish but miscellaneous stuff. You're right, they are good with communication but I've always hesitated about buying fish. The website was always the problem.

How did you pay for the fish?
 
Their shipping is crazy, and I'm not too sure about the quality of their fish, but then again I'm not from SD.

One funny thing though, I called them once to get a shipping quote on three king kong parrots to oklahoma.
I emailed them and they responded with an automatic "call this number" message
So I called the number and got an older guy (who I'm assuming is the father)
Who quoted me 90$.
Then I went back to my computer and found a shipping quote from the son,
$60.

Lol.
