Hey I just went through planetcatfish and they said the water temp should be.
71.6-78.8°F
but. can they survive in 80F?

also, would they go for any pellets? what are the diet of yours?

Fish usually can "survive" in a wide range of temperature, the recorded temps are ideal.

A little research on your part will go miles with how much people want to help you.

I agree with the mods. A little research shows dedication on your part as a fishkeeper. Sure, there are some questions that would be easier to ask experienced fishkeepers, but taking the time to learn has no substitute.

o.k.; i'll ask once I can't seem to find answers online..

any good sites for beginners? (other than a search engine)

:iagree: The more unresearched questions you ask, the more likely the answers you get will be dismissive.

Well I researched this but couldn't find anymore on planetcatfish.

i read that ID sharks are really active fish that need space. and if you have a in-active ID, then he is not healthy
but what about when they sleep? do they hover in one spot or sleep-swim?

do you have one? if not then why are you diagnosing a problem for a fish that doesnt exist?
