Oh yeah. She cant have random ruffians damaging the store fixtures.

Went upstairs to get some frozen shrimp for the Aros, on the way back down I noticed something a bit out of place...

Looking around the other side revealed a Golden Tree Snake (Chrysopelea ornata ornatissima) not very happy to have been found.

So I grabbed an old trash bin from outside the house, placed it under the snake and tried tapping it with a wooden rod. It took off (they're really fast) up the stairs but then suddenly and luckily dropped right down into my moving trash bin.

I took it outside the house and flung it into a large, brush-filled field about 200 meters down the road. Golden Tree snakes are mildly venomous but not considered dangerous to humans (unless perhaps one had an allergic reaction). However they will bite readily if cornered. This is a young one, they can get up to 5 feet. Their favorite food is Tokay Geckos and their special ability is flying (actually gliding, which they can do up to 100 meters if starting high enough). Glad it didn't fly down on top of my head lol.

Jeez you live an adventure brotha, I’m questioning the fact if you can handle housing MY fish without having long Serpents potentionally eatting it :wall::OMG::asianarow:raspberry

No guarantees my friend, it's just about impossible to keep them out of the house if they really want to get in. About a month ago I saw (half) of an approx. 8 foot long Burmese python slithering through a whole in our wall (luckily going, not coming); just the other day our housekeeper said she saw a ~6-7 foot cobra on the road in front of the house. It's the dry season now so they're on the move to find water. In fact I've also wondered if a snake would ever try to snag one of my fish from a tank....maybe I should set up some motion alarms...wait, snakes are cold-blooded, would they be sensed by a motion alarm lol?
