i know my cam sucks , i can't get a good pic , and okayy i will ! i hate this so much , i had a bamboo for a year , he randomly just passed nothing wrong with him . he was perfect .. now this marbled is so much harder , :( so how would i use the hydrogen ? cause i have some right now , i just don't wanna put it in my tank and it ****s everything over.

Personally I would wait till tomorrow and get some nitrofurazone and use it at 20mg/1L in a bath for 2 hours a day. As for the peroxide use it in a syringe with a couple ml and squirt it on the damaged area. Making a peroxide bath is a little more involed than you need right now and you could kill the shark. Too much peroxide is like using too much ozone. You will Burn up the shark

how do i know this wont kill the shark , and what does the peroxide do , like what goodness will it do without burning the shark..

Nitrofurazone is a broad spectrum antibiotic AKA medicine that gets rid of bacteria. Peroxide is an antibiotic, antihelminthic, crustacicide, and potozacide. (kills lots of stuff) Peroxide works as an oxidizer breaks down organic matter. Just the right amount kills bacteria and too much kills the shark. Just put a little on the shark like you would a cut.

Of course a medicine could injure or kill the shark. They are no different than other animals. The risks are probably quite low, if dosed properly, but all treatments come with side effects. You have to consider the risks and weigh them against the benefits of treating.

I think watchful waiting is appropriate in your situation if you are treating the tail alone. If you think that the shark is "not right" then you may wish to consider treating. Realize that your shark fasting on day 3 is well within the norm.

I still have not seen a decent photo of your shark. Take a picture of the whole thing. Increase your resolution to the max. Upload the photo to a storage site and post the link. More detail on the tail would be helpful. The tail appears to have an ulcer in one of the photos but you say no.

Also, hydrogen peroxide as a bath will not help. It has to be applied directly to the wound. It will reduce bacterial load, like rinsing a wound. It will not clear your shark of an infection, if one exists. You could also use a triple antibiotic oint, but the tail has to be dry for it to stick. Treatments like these will surely stress your animal and I would not recommend them.
