I only have 2 females and a friend of mine has a fertile male I am gonna see if we can bring the 2 together and get some fry. lately I have been outcrossing prq to other fish to get a hint of synspilum since my synspilum female is to chicken of everything

Do it! Im having a rough time finding them.

Thats what I did. I bought 4 and raised them up and out of the 4 two were female usually the females are smaller than males.Their spawn behavior is pretty much the same as flowerhorn and most Central American cichlids I have seen. They arnt real picky either my 2 females have spawned w/my fader fh, a devilhorn and carpintis they both love my male synspilum but he refuses to spawn I think he isnt mature enough
