well your post is about your fish taking a beating. I then looked at your sig, which clearly outlines your wonderful stocking thus far. 3 Oscars and a Jag in a 70? 2 dovii FH in a 70? Im just going by what info you are putting out there and to me it looks like you dont really know what you are doing, so I responded. May not have been helpful, but perhaps over crowding was part of it, you never mentioned fry in the original post, so as said, I went off the little info provided.
Maybe you have more tanks and I am wrong, but I doubt it. Good luck with that
Heh. I like how some of your fish magically disappear from your signature when you figure out you're overstocked. Or did you actually do the right thing and get rid of most of your fish?
Guys youre being way too harsh here, you see theres way more to the story....
Monster Oscars had to move in my house, im his sisters boyfriend.
He had to sell his massive corner tank that held his three oscars.
He had to put his oscars with my Jags and we had to remove the female.
We purchased the Flowerhorns as a small venture, both very small.
They got on fine in a 4 foot tank for a while i mean they were like 1".
Then at about 3" mine suddenly snapped and took the tail off of his.
His flowerhorn looks great now and ill try to persuade him to show some pics.
Plus as a fact he grew his oscars from fry to just over 12" so yeh he deserves his name, sorry for digging up an old post but i never saw this, if i saw at the time i would have had much more to say!
