i went out on a local river today and saw tons of wildlife, swans, herons, kingfishers, turtles it was probably my favorite trip so far

I bought my first kayak 8 years ago made by Ocean and ever since i refuse to fish out of anything else. Ive fished more than 400 times at over 100 different lakes, streams rivers and ocean and caught hundreds more fish the biggest being a 6 foot dog shark. Most of the lakes here have horsepower restrictions so its electric or rowing only. I find i can paddle as fast if not faster than a fully loaded boat with an electric. Its light, fast and indestructible. Kayaking is the only way to go!

My girlfriend got me a kayak for our anniversary. She got a ring, I got a kayak. Sounds fair to me. I got a Vertex Flex, cheap but is surprisingly stable and I only kayak on gentle local streams. I have yet to take this one out though!
