Keeping any natives in a pond with koi?

Do you plan on heating the pond in the winter since it's only 2.5 ft deep?

i would just get rid of the catfish and go with the koi and a school of sunfish like longear sunfish. white sturgeon would be a bad idea because they get to be huge! just googlesearch teh thing and you will see what i mean.

i understand ... obviously it wont live in there forver, but it will take it several yeras to outgrow it
