Ahh, i see.

But Anubias is just as hard, if not harder to kill and it doesn't need pots.

It looks cooler too. IMO

It will attach to just about anything or you can just weight it down with your rocks as long as the Rhizome is exposed to air.

i like the look of java fern better,but i wouldnt mind the change.

Oh, and when i said "exposed to air" i meant "directly exposed to water". Like not buried.

have you tried flourish excel? also, have you used any treatments in the tank containing copper? too much copper has browned plants in my tank

im trying it now.
apart from flourish excel i dont use any chemicals except the anti-chlorine which has no copper.

Have you run a nitrite/nitrate/ammonia test? Plants, especially fast growers NEED nitrates. If your readings are low, that's a strong indicator of a deficiency.

nitrates are high i believe.
nitrites and ammonia 0.0
