Sorry, I wasn't thinking when I replied. You don't think a 1" pipe for the overflow is enough?

an inch is suppose to be good for 600 gph. I could prob use more then that on a 125 gallon tank. So far it's been running for 20 minutes. That's the longest yet. The new overflow hasn't stopped yet. The only difference was adding a ball valve in and shorting the "u's". The thing sure is loud, it's going to be hard to sleep.

I finally got a glass top on.

I use a Ranco Temp Controller and it keeps my tank at 82 degrees night or day.

Overflows been running for 24hrs so far. Seems to be working pretty good.
