Keeping Tilapia then eating it?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You could, another member on her ate his red devils. I have 6 mozambique tilapias, but I don't have any plans on eating them. That and they are only a couple inches long and way to hard to clean, lol.
I have a breeding pair of them, maybe I shold start a farm :D

We don't talk anymore...D**n englishmen.

That's the same breed I had. They're great. I had pea size gravel in the tank and they constantly moved it around. Watching the babies was incredibly interesting.

Had some in a pond and they grew to over 18in, they were huge.!

The fine for possesion at the time was $500.00 per fish ( doing the math - $51,000.00)

I didn't find that out till later tho...

I miss them. :(

We have blue tilapia in every pond and drop of water around here.

Check out my thread on ' what I got for fathers day', we have strange things swimming around here. :WHOA:

ick, forget the snails and tilapia

whoever said tuna had the right idea

ill talk ya through it

get a fresh bluefin tuna

gut it

butterfly it

bone it

skin and fin it

cut into nice 1" - 1" 1/2 V steaks

grill with lots of lemon pepper on one side

and thats how the WEST COAST does good eats

unless you go for rocky mountain oysters, then thats a different story

if you really want to grow out a nice fish to eat, id try a burbot, lota lota, ling, or cod

I would say its save, but after seeing this post I don't think you would like to eat them. In the supermarket i found a red devil and that guy gave it to me for free

That is a miracle for the sake of a devil! = witchcraft
