I have an idea, both of you guys hand over all your Cichla to me. You guys can get into guppies or something.... which I am sure Guppy Hobbyist also has their share of drama...LOL....

I don't keep live animals that don't eat silversides.... nothing will excite me at this moment until one of my 2nd batch kelberi coverted to silverside.... man... two more to worry tonight... and that'll be it for my big tank. Seal it. Nothing goes in and comes out from now on......except the mono.

Everything is fine... let's talk about Cichla now....

It was kind of hard to understand at first... I will need to read it couple more time s when I get home from work..... I haven't checked if other speicies also being described like kelberi under these classification.

Another helpful tip is as your reading the PDF's they will tell you what Halotype there refering to and the reference the paratypes and so on. I paid attention to these as I was reading through them over and over and it begin to make more sense. Hope that helps.

Well, my theory was banking on that the ones we got from Sharkaquarium will turn out to be like that of Scats. I think I posted it somewhere. But that is for wishful thinking. I currently have a picture of Scats Kelberi's in front of the tank from SA to give them an idea what i want them to turn out to be...HAHAHAHA

This availability of Cichla is both good and bad. Good to have but bad for the wallet..... I just hope it settles off soon becaue I can't get rid of anything else to buy anything new.....HAHAHAHAHA.....

All I know is I can't wait to see how my guys turn out. They are already so cool, and I can tell all 3 apart. One is darker and a bit thinner than the other two (crackle), one is shorter and fatter(pop), and then there is the longest one who also has a more pronounced lower jaw (snap).
