Hi everybody.A few months ago i moved to Greece and my new project is to breed Kelberis. The last few years i was breeding Monos and now i will try with Kelberi and i am hoping to breed a few more bass in the future.Problem is that the female is still recovering from a hard time that she had in the old aquarium.A fish with hole in the head died in the aquarium that she came from and i am worried that she has it in the first stage. After a general treatment that my mate gave her i moved her in a 250cm x60cm x 60sm 10 days ago.On day 3 she eat 10 feeders.Next few days 1-2 feeders every 1-2 days. The last 3-4 days she does not really care to eat more feeders but her beaviour has change. She is not stressed anymore she is not sitting in the bottom in the tank and she looks that she is recovering really good but still not eating. On a side of the head she has 3-4 black spots (but not holes ) .At the past i had a Mono with same spots and after 6-7 months she developed hole in the head. She was eating every now and then like the Kelberi.
.Any suggestions from the experts?
Anyone had same problem before?
Thanks a lot for your help.

hi there, some pictures would really help, it is good step that u have isolated her and she has settled down. try taking a photo a day and maybe any changes would be easier to notice making diagnosing easier.

Yes i know that i need to get photos but at the moment i keep her in the tank without light and dont want to stress her for any reason.Fish is 40cm long and she is not fat neither skinny.Up to 3 weeks ago she was on frozen or dry food and any now and then a few feeders.Cause of the hard time the treatment and the stress i gave her a few feeders about 10 days ago and she eat them and a few more 4-5 days ago and they still there.Feeders are goldfish and cichlids. When she will recover will start feeding frozen dry or fresh but not feeders.Tomorow will do a change of 25% and will see.A small part of her eye looks a little cloudy. Thanks everybody for the help and advise..

Hole in the head can form due to water quality. Up the way changes and over time you will see a difference
