thats why i never played the kelberi game. i sat back and watch too many $200-300 fish end up looking like ugly monos. there are a handful that turned out be stunners (like ado's) but youre kidding yourself if you think a group of little guys will all look like scats. scats kelberi posted above is pretty small, about 10" he said. there are many that are much bigger and look nothing like that, and in my opinion, never will.

if you really want a kelberi, i say invest that money towards a bigger one that you can already tell what it looks like. sure, its fun to grow them out and see what you get. but its not so fun when these babies cost $200+. by the time they grow up you have invested a lot of money in them. and all you'll end up with is a $500 investment for a fish that looks no better than a $50 mono.

Here's an unknown PBASS TYPE sold sometime ago for under $50 from a reputable vendor.

Glad I was able to jump in on a few when they were available. I have a few friends growing out some Pbass but I'm not sure when I get back in the hobby I will be into PBASS =-(
