kendragon's cichla filter project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hope so, i'm still deciding if i'm going to use the wet dry it came with or start from scratch. But this might give me some ideas.

Id take the bp's too ken :) How big are the broko's? They are lookn nice and plump. More bass close ups.

i need this for my 540 im getting this weekend im all ears bro

Any new news on the filter?

Water quality is good. Bass is more active and is feeding more aggressively. For such a short period, size and color cannot be noticed. The manufacturer is coming to see me tomorrow with a custom UV. I got a theory on fish growth with the positive effects of UV. We will also backwash it to see what comes out. I did not install an air blower for cleaning because I feel it is not required. Back pressure in the chamber has not creeped up so I may add more media. It already has 30 lb in that little chamber.

My baseline is my bahia setup and I'm trying to improve on that. My sump setup lacked growth in my broko so I'm leaning towards a pressurized non-traditional system.
Conformation and color is what I want out of my xingus. Stay tune.

I want more of this
