Hi all,
A couple friends and I have been dealing with Ken at Kensfish for quite a long time, spent a lot of money, with great results. I've even met Ken at conventions before. Lately the service seems to have fallen off drastically though. Orders take forever to ship and some of the items shipped have been wrong. Phone calls don't get returned and you get their answering service lately.
Anyone else having similar issues with them?

I haven't ordered anything from Ken's in about a year but it came to my house fast and without any issues.

I just placed a sizable order through Kensfish the week before Memorial day and everything went well without a hitch. Placed the order like Monday, shipped like Wednesday, arrived the following Tuesday delayed by Memorial day. Everything looked fine and was well packed.

I ordered from Kensfish.com in March sometime, everything arrived when it was supposed to...no complaints.

i made my last big order a month or so ago, and he sent the wrong pellet. i wanted color pellets and i got cichlid. he answered my email night after i sent it, i had the right bag within a week at my door, and he told me to keep the other bag when i offered to mail it back.

My last order was three months ago. Everything was right, but it took a week and a half to get to me. Usually if I order on a Sunday or Monday morning I have everything by Wendsday, Thursday at the latest.

Early april I made a sizeable order it all shipped I believe the next day it was at my door 5 days later complete and well packaged as always. I love the guy and his products / business concepts. He has been nothing but helpful and accomadating.

Its important to remember as well that he has a full time job on top of his online store. He fields all his calls himself as he doens't have anyone who knows about all his foods and can answer questions like he can. He also has to balance his family in there somewhere. Perhaps you had your issues at a time where he was taking a much deserved vacation, had an issue in his personal life, or he had to deal with something for his family. I order from ken alot, and visit with him at conventions and shows as well. I will continue to order and recommend him for the quality of his product, his dedication to the hobby, his outstanding product, and the fact that he is a heck of a nice guy.
